Divinity Persians/Exotics are sold
exclusively on co-ownerships. This is for the protection and safety of
the kitties (that's all there is to it. I don't require you to give me
any cats/kittens back or your firstborn child its nothing like that) I
just do not want the cats resold once they leave my home. Oh and
please do not contact me and proceed to argue about co-owning. It is
my policy since I ran across some unethical breeders in the past and
I wont change it. Florida Persian breeders (located in Ocala) who
swore up and down they never would resell--sold my cats overseas sick
(hemobartonella) and pregnant. They almost died and lost their
litters. I had to hear from these upset new owners when I wasn't the
one who sent the cats to them. Not a very pleasant experience and not
one I am going to chance repeating so please no arguing. Thank You for
understanding.
Co-owning also is beneficial in
preventing a cat from being sent to a shelter should their be an
untimely passing of their owner. There is always a back up owner
listed! It is also useful should you be duped and find your cat in the
hands of someone brought up on animal cruelty charges. When you want
your cat back you find their animals have been seized. If you have
proof your the co-owner w/microchip in many cases animal control will
return your cat to you. Remember
to always co-own and microchip. This way your cats
have a permanent identification should any of the above situations
arise. It can save their lives and gives you some piece of mind.
Top Show, Show and Breeding quality cats are not available in CFA's
region 1 or 7. Altered Pets or premiership show cats are. If you
purchase a Top Show, Show or Breeding quality cat/kitten from me it is
understood that no offspring from this cat will be sold back into
CFA's region 1 or 7. (READ DIVINITY

All of my cats are scanned for PKD some are DNA tested. If you don't
trust the test results of scanning and would like a DNA test run on
the cat you are purchasing you are more then welcome to pay for the
test and I will have it done for you. I have not had any PKD + cats
arise from my scanned cats to date.
I offer top show,
show, breeder, and pet quality kittens/cats. Below is a short
description of what we consider each quality...
Top Show:
Kittens at 4 months of age or older that in my estimation have the
potential to be Regional or National winners in CFA. Of course this
also depends in the end on the owners ability to care for, condition,
groom and show the cat to perfection. This also includes:1 or 2 show
Grand Champions. Proven GC males or females I may have available that
have produced outstanding kittens.($2800 and up)
Show:
Kittens that I feel are grandable at 4 months of age or older in a CFA
cat show. They have all the qualities of a top show cat but just lack
that little extra pizzazz that would make them a top show kitty. This
also includes: Proven CH males or females I may have available.($2000
and up)
Breeder:
Kittens that I feel will champion, but do not have the competitive
edge for granding in a CFA show. They almost always have very nice
qualities that would improve a breeding program.($1350 and up)
Pet:
Kittens that do not meet show or breeder standards in CFA, but will
make healthy and loving companions for your family. $850
($1000-$1200 if you would like me to alter a Show cat for you to keep
as a pet/companion)
All of our Pets
are spayed or neutered before leaving Divinity Persians unless other
arrangements are made. All kittens receive a Health Certificate and
two sets of FVRCP from our licensed Veterinarian before going to new
homes. Kittens never leave until 12 weeks of age. After 12 weeks old
they will be vaccinated for Rabies. We randomly test for FeLV-FIV but
never vaccinate for it.
Divinity cats/kittens
are placed on a first come first serve basis. I do keep a waiting
list. When I feel the cats/kittens are ready to be advertised I will
contact you back then advertise them as available within that week.
**I don't accept
deposits to hold cats/kittens.** The reason behind
this is because when one person is inquiring about a cat/kitten
someone else may be interested in that same cat/kitten as well. A
deposit means nothing to some people and the cat/kitten cat can lose
out on a great home while waiting for weeks on someone who isn't
serious and just forfeits their deposit. **From
now on Payment in full is expected at the time the cat/kitten is
available.** If shipping is involved those expenses
need to be paid in full 10 days prior to shipment date.
PLEASE NOTE:
Direct wire deposits/transactions are accepted but the wire fees both
outgoing and incoming will be the responsibility of the buyer. I will
accept Cash, Certified bank checks, Money Orders, Western Union as
well. ***No personal checks accepted*** All payments should be made
out for the exact amount owed. Any check payment received that is over
the actual cost owed will be returned to the buyer.
Divinity Persians
also reserves the right to cancel any sales/agreements/contracts at
anytime without explanation. If this occurs and no explanation is
given all money will be refunded within a timely period. (For the most
part this usually means I have found out conditions in your home are
not ideal, you have lied to me somehow and I found out or you have
misrepresented another breeder in a bad way and I prefer not to deal
with you)
Please remember these
are lives animals. Anything can happen at anytime to them that
is beyond my control. If the sales/agreement/contract is cancelled
because the cat/kitten tragically passes away before delivery, becomes
sick and unable to travel/be picked up indefinitely, does not grow to
a competitive size or competitive quality it is agreed there are NO
REFUNDS OF MONEY. The cat/kitten will be replaced with one of the same
or better quality and same sex when available (exact age, tempermant,
and color pattern on the cat can not be duplicated). Any titles or
specific pedigree wanted Divinity Persians will try to accommodate
for. The same applies to any and all other instances that may arise
not allowing the cat/kitten to leave Divinity Persians.
Shipping is
available at the buyers expense from Newark International airport in
NJ. If you need me to go to JFK or Laguardia in NY there is an
additional $100 charge for
bridge/road tolls, parking, gas and my time for more then
likely having to sit in hours of traffic. Domestic Shipping (within US
only) cost using Continental Pet Safe Program is
approx $220-$320 (Depends
on overall weight of kennel)--other
airlines may be more expensive (this includes airfare,
crate, regular Veterinary health certificate, microchip
and vaccinations). International shipping cost is
approximately
$650 (includes airfare,
USDA certified/stamped health certificate, microchip, crate and
vaccinations).
**COUNTRIES REQUIRING RABIES
QUARANTINE** I will on occasion keep a cat for the 6 month
quarantine in the US for Taiwan. This is the only quarantine I am
familiar with as of now. There is a
boarding fee of $10 a day ($6 for second cat) to maintain
your cat in show condition, care for it, feed it and veterinary care
if needed. This must be paid for in full at the time of sale. The
Rabies titer blood sample is
currently $160 at my Veterinarians office.
USDA charges for certifying Rabies
titer is $75 plus Fed Ex fees back and forth.
