Bella and Lola would like to welcome you to our website

Divinity Persians is located in Central New Jersey USA. I specialize in the breeding of bicolor and calico Persians. My newest interest is the Exotic Shorthair which is a shorthair version of the Persian. So be on the lookout for some shorthair babies! I have been breeding Persians over 16 years and showing actively in CFA for 13 years.

My first show cat and first grand in 1996 was GC All That Jazz Chinese Fireworks.

China is a Copper Eyed White Female masking bicolor and she came to me from Pat Rechnitz in Florida. She is how I got started in showing and I figured if I could show a white and grand her in 3 shows then I can do a lot more. Little did I know I would be where I am today. In July of 2005 China became a DM. To see her 5 Grands Click Here.

My original cattery name was SilverPaws under which I produced my first Distinguished Merit female CH Silverpaws Shake Your Bon-Bon, DM. To see her 5 Grands Click Here.

After changing my breeding program to bicolors I chose a new cattery name Divinity which means divine or angelic and of course my Persians meet that standard :) So in 2000 I changed my cattery name to Divinity and since then I have selectively bred my Persians from the following lines: Ezluvin, Sky-Hy, Chantilylace and most recently I have acquired some new females from Purrzone, Budmar, Wattkatz and Harwood lines.

These pedigrees have consistently produced top show kittens for me with super short bodies, cottony coats, small ears and that sweet, wide, open expression I prefer.

I have granded numerous cats from my own cattery and for others. I am a member of the Persian Breed Council http://www.persianbc.org/ and also part of the Garden State Cat Club
http://www.gardenstatecatclub.org/

For the 2002-2003 show season I had my first National win with GP NW Divinity's Shimmer. Shimmer was 10th best cat nationally and best bicolor nationally he was also 3rd best cat in Region 1. Shimmer had a few years or retirement and passed away on 4-10-2006.

In the 2003-2004 season I had a Regional win with GC RW Divinity's Sugar Kiss. Kissy was 16 th best cat in Region 1 and 7th best bicolor nationally and Best of Breed and Color regionally. She is a full sister to Shimmer and was as much fun to show as he was.

2004-2005 was yet again another success with another National win. GC, NW Purrzones Candy Kisses Of Divinity ended the season as 19th best cat and second best bicolor nationally. Candy is co-owned with Susan Burton of HugsNKisses cattery she is a beautiful female who just loved to be shown she came all the way from Oklahoma as a small kitten to live with me and turned out to be way more then I expected.

Thank you very much Carolyn for trusting me with Candy I guess you can say I kept good on my promise to grand her for you.

For the season 2005-2006 I am very proud of my friend Susan Burton for showing her CEW male to a NW. GC, BW, NW Hugsnkisses Sent By An Angel "Spoofy" is sired by GC Divinity's Key To My Heart Of Hugsnkisses. Such a wonderful accomplishment. To See "Spoofy" Click Here.

I am happy to announce that in 2006-2007 3 littermates from my female GC, RW Divinity's Sugar Kiss, DM have all become Grand Champions. "Bella" GC Divinity's Let Me Love You, "Lola" GC Divinity's Who Loves Ya Baby and "Devil" GC Divinity's Im Lovin It! Bella is currently being shown all over the country.

Its official "Bella" has become a National winner. GC,NW Divinity's Let Me Love You ended the 2006-2007season as 21st Best cat in championship, 4th Best Bicolor/Calico Nationally and the North Atlantic regions 4th Best Cat and best bicolor/calico. Way to go Bella!!

I did not show for any national/regional wins in 2007-2008. However, in 2008-2009 Divinity Persians had 2 Regional winners and a new DM. Our DM is GC, RW Divinity's Sugar Kiss, DM  She is a 2nd generation DM following in her mothers pawprints. She obtained her title in August 2008. To see Kissy's five grands Click Here. Our two new regional winners are. GC, RW Divinity's Sprinkled With Love "Kimmy" a dominant calico. "Kimmy" ended up 12th best bicolor for the North Atlantic region and Best bicolor/calico. She was also 2nd best bicolor/calico nationally. Our second regional winner is GC, RW Divinity's What's Not To Love Of Mo-Yem. This boy was show with his half sister "Kimmy" for most of the season. At many shows they finaled together. He finished up as 14th best cat in the North Atlantic region and 2nd best bicolor/calico. He was also the best cream and white Persian nationally. He currently lives in Taiwan with his new owner Peng Tsan Ying.

For this current season 2009-2010 I have plans to show my newest Grand Champion for a Regional Win. Her name is GC Divinity's Fabulosity. She is a blue and white Persian. She granded at 8 months old and is currently doing very well at the shows. Stay tuned for more....

Because I am a small cattery and I believe in quality not quantity and I keep my kitten numbers low usually producing 4 litters per year. I do offer stud service with restrictions to approved Vet checked females and will on occasion lease one of my males out with a specific contract. From time to time I will have a retired adult for adoption. All of my cats have been tested for PKD and have constant Vet care through out their lives. I hope you enjoy your visit to my website please come back again and don't forget to leave your pawprint in my guestbook.
